Led blinking from 230V

My friend and i was needing a led blinking from 230V. Withoutt transformer ,without pcb ,just a led and few components

And this exactly what we’ve made!!

The operation of this circuit is obvious. Capacitor charge through 47k and diode ,when it reach 30-32 V, (voltage that diac starts operate), then start discharge through 270 ohm and led.Capacitor must be at least 40V. So simple.

Playing with 47k and capacitor, we can achieve different blinking periods. With those values you can see to the video the period of the led
